What is Hajj?

This is the fifth pilar of Islam in which Every Muslim whose finances and health permit it must make at least one visit to the holy city of Mecca, this action is called the pilgrimage or hajj. This is a journey that every Muslim have to do to a sacred place or shrine. By bringing Muslims from all part of the world together every year.
The Kaaba is a cubical structure covered in black embroidered hangings, is at the center of the Haram Mosque in Mecca. Since the time of prophet Muhammad, believers from all the world have gathered around the Kaaba in Mecca on the eight and twelfth days of the final month of the islamic calendar.

What is it important?
It's important because it bring Muslims from all parts of the world together every year. The Hajj is a chance for Muslims to experience the spiritual side of Islam and to feel closer to God and also because the hajj strengthens the global community of Muslims.
